This device is used to quickly wind the rubber strand of free flight model airplanes. Usually hundreds of revolutions are needed to prepare a plane for each flight. This device is designed to turn the rubber 9 times for every turn of the manual crank. Construction is generally done with 1/4” plywood, dowels, and wood.
